TREND IQVIEW8 USER INTERFACE
Orlando RAC was asked to retrofit a Trend IQView8 User Interface (UI) to one of our customers sites. Primarily site wanted to have a visual representation of the Plant Operation and have ALL Alarms transmitted to this new device located adjacent the occupied work area.
The Trend IQView8 was selected due to the older IQ3 Excite Hardware being utilised in the Control Panel. We built up the points list and used generic dynamic backdrops for the new user pages. New Internal Sensor Points were added to the SET Project to build on the diagnostic and logging capabilities of the new User Interface. This was all carried out off-site. We attended site and installed the new Trend IQView8 User Interface (UI) on the wall shown to us. A power supply and Ethernet Cable was run back to the main HVAC Control Panel upstairs.
