SPARE PARTS CRISIS IN OUR INDUSTRY

Like all trades in these uncertain times, we are struggling to get deliveries of any and every serviceable item, especially if there is a microchip involved; it’s a spare parts crisis. Where possible, we are having to remanufacture parts in-house to keep our customers HVAC Kit running.

Here at Orlando, we pride ourselves that our engineers hold very specific and niche skill sets. A spare parts crisis had made us re-think the 6-month lead time on an Exhaust Heat Exchanger with failed welds. Our Engineer ground out and re-worked the failed Stainless-Steel Welds to a successful pressure test. It’s a little more than thinking outside the box, it’s actually having the skill sets available in-house to be able to offer options to our customers.
