THE COMPANY:

ORLANDO REFRIGERATION & AIR CONDITIONING LTD provides exceptionally skilled Engineers to the HVAC Industry. We work on Water Chillers and Boiler Plant from all manufacturers, from small duty to large industrial central plant. ALL our Engineers primarily hold Refrigeration Trade Papers AND Gas Safe Accreditation for Domestic, Commercial and Gas Engine works. All engineers have been additionally trained where there were gaps in skills sets.

We are a young company that understands the importance of balancing Home Life and Work Responsibilities, especially for young families. We generally pay a higher basic rate, so overtime isn’t relied upon. There are times when the odd weekend end work is required and overtime is available if needed. We have a family business feel which all the staff love – we have an excellent job retention rate.

THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to complement our existing engineering team. You MUST:

• Hold an NVQ Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Levels 2 & 3 at a minimum.
• Hold City & Guilds 2079 Part 1 (F-Gas)
• A reasonably clean Drivers Licence
• No Criminal Record as we go to ‘Secure Sites’ (DBS Check & CTC Clearance)
• Loyalty, a willingness to go the extra mile and most importantly, be a good listener
• Ideally, we would like our Senior Engineer to live in Watford, Hemel Hempstead or in the St. Albans Area.
• You will be issued a company van and tooling. We generally work within the M25 and London areas. We do cover some works nationally with our Robur Gas Absorption and Chiller Manufacturer Service and Commissioning Works.

You will have the opportunity to work on:

• Carel Controls & Equipment. Training with 1Tool for in-house Software Programming and commissioning
• New Compressor Technologies including Turbocor, Inverter Bitzer Screw, Inverter Scroll and other VSD Driven compressors including York Screws
• General Service, Maintenance and Repairs to Chiller and Air Conditioning Plant
