ABOUT THIS PROJECT
We attended to an emergency callout on the Tenants Ciat Chiller; Ted Baker HQ. The call was that the Comfort Cooling Chiller was not working and without any display on the controller. We soon confirmed that the Ciat Controller had failed and was not repairable. We were surprised to find out that there was a 8-12 week lead time from the manufacturer on this spare part. We gave Ted another option of retrofitting a Carel Controller which was available ex-stock. Within 48 Hours the chiller was up and running again with a future proof, of-the-shelf controller. The software we had written was open protocol and left on site.
